The whole place would be cute if kept up but it needs a good cleaning, painting, and the furniture needs to be replaced or reupholstered. That room smelled better but was musty and dirty as well. I got a room change at my request and we were moved to the room next door. The whole place was dingy, unclean and uninviting. The first room was dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke, had stains on carpet and there were stains and mold on the bedroom ceiling.
It was less money thankfully but wasn't what I requested.

We didn't receive an upgrade we were downgraded to a filthy room. When I arrived I was told that I was upgraded because when I booked with you online they had already filled their rooms. Because the hotel was dirty we checked out first thing in the morning. There was nothing I liked at Hotel Villa del Sol except that they offered bicycles to rent there.
